Mr B had a spike in his temperature last night so he is still on intravenous antibiotics <3. He says he feels fine and obviously disappointed but I said they are not going to discharge him till they feel everything is satisfactory <3 <3

Well daughter has cancelled her holiday and got all her money back. Told the people why and they admitted the road was being dug up outside the cottage (busman's holiday). It wouldn't be pleasant for anyone staying.

Daughter's friend has been taken to a hospice, organs shutting down and unable to eat, drinking difficult. Palliative care only. His wife and mother are taking turns to be with him so he's not alone, our daughter to see him this evening after she finishes work then she's taking his 2 sons to her house to stay there for the next few days. :-( Very sad time.
