JACK WILLIS INJURY

England, and all Six Nations Championship fans, watched their TV screens in horror yesterday as England’s new player and Try Scorer Jack Willis sustained an horrific injury during the England v Italy game.

Poor Jack was screaming in agony after his knee severely twisted in a “CROCODILE ROLL” in a ruck clearance. This perfectly legal action is when a player grabs another player and twists around with them to remove them as a threat to the ball. Jack’s studs were pressed solidly into the ground so that he could hold his position when this happened.

Jack’s fellow team mates and also the Italian players were horrified!
The Italian who performed the action, Sebastian Negri, was also appalled at what happened! He sent an apologetic Twitter message to Jack....
