The kids Sports Day was always a bit iffy. We all had to troop along to the Fields. The kids were worn out by the time they got there. :-(

I know…saw the darn fair setting up on the common this morning…it will be like a bog if there is torrential rain….getting all the large wagons moved off on Wednesday :-|

My junior school didn't, it was all tarmac but my senior school did with a swimming pool :-D But the pool was unheated :-0 :-0

I remember my friend and I going to the Jubilee Fair and getting chatted up by the fairground workers…..I was drooling over a David Essex lookalike when I had a tap on my shoulder….Twas my dad in his uniform

We had to take the coach to Cannons Park, by the time we got there, it was time to come back. :-D :-D
