Attention Grabbing Headlines

OH has a phone with an irritating habit of coming up with news headlines, most of which are either half-truths, misleading or simply wrong! A bit of investigation usually finds the full story, which sometimes is way out of date. :-S Where they get them from is a mystery.

The latest one, a couple of days ago, announced "BBC to drop two popular programmes from its schedules".

It's done that before, so I investigated further - it turned out that because BBC1 is full of the Olympics, Countryfile and Antiques Roadshow are being moved to BBC2 for a couple of weeks!!

However now a few newspapers are starting to charge if you don’t want adds my list is diminishing :-D :-D :-D

OH believes them too, which is why I have to try and find out the truth, so that I can tell him he is worrying about nothing! :-)
