I agree about the closing ceremony, I have to admit to falling asleep :-0. Looking at the clips this morning it didn't look as if I missed much :-0

What I did see I thought had elements of our 2012 Opening Ceremony ie the raising of the Olympic circles and the lights flickering in the Stands :-0. I can remember there was a light box beside each seat :-)

Came back from shopping to find someone was parked across my drive with a blue badge displayed :-|. Fortunately, I was able to park outside my house but only just. :-0

Just finished putting the shopping away when a young man returned to the car who, from the picture, was not the Blue Badge holder :-|

I went out and tapped on his window and asked him not to park across my drive or come to that anyone else's drive even though he was displaying a blue badge :-|. Furthermore, he wasn't the blue badge holder and he shouldn't be displaying it anyway :-|

Not sure he fully understood what I was saying but he got the gist :-)

Why do people who have a relative who is a blue badge holder think they have the right to use it too :-|

Yes, Elizabeth, I was looking out about 3.15 ish and saw a flash dart through the sky.
It's rather too light here really, so I was pleased to see that.
When grandson was young, we used to love going out together to see these natural wonders <3
