Since yesterday afternoon I have 'Try new Outlook for free' over my hotmail account, effectively blocking me from using my email account or logging out. I don't need an all whistles and bells account but I cannot get rid of this intrusion. There is no option to just say 'no thanks' or to close the window but apparently users can revert back if they don't like the new look!!!!
Fuming doesn't come close!

Is anyone else having this experience? or even better, worked out how to get rid of it?

PLEASE!

I'm off out shortly so will look in this afternoon and look forward to helpful replies

Have you tried shutting the PC down and opening up again? I am sure you will have tried that but just in case..... Sounds very annoying and intrusive. Why are all these new 'things' never ones we want that benefit us?

Thanks Ann, shutting down makes no difference.

I just tried on my phone, it also wanted me to do the same but gave me 2 options, accept or decline.

Sorry I can't help, was going to suggest same as Ann.

edit; Can you minimise the screen in case a part of the message isn't showing.

Mine has a sliding buttontop left when looking at the list of emails. Try moving that - then I think you get a page of stuff - go down to the bottom - I think the choice is there.

BUT OH has this on his laptop and can't seem to get rid of it. Neither of us like it as there is no clue as to whther you have any new emails without going into each one seperately.

On my computer , at the bottom of the box offering "new Outlook" I have the choice of "Download" or "Not now".

Many thanks everyone :-D piecing together your suggestions and wondering why I had no 'accept or decline' I checked the screen/view size and discovered this darn thing had increased it to 150% :-0 I sometimes go up to 110% but never 150 - my eyes aren't that bad!
So... reducing back down to 110 the accept/decline came into view. I declined.
