Did not expect to see any sunshine today, after reading the forecast, but it's quite bright and OK really.
It looked dry, when I woke, but daughter says it did rain in the night, but was obviously a lot less than expected and the ground dried quickly.
No thunder or lightning though.

Yes, Belle, we are technically in an 'at risk' area, as defined by the Government, although it has never flooded, so it's a bit of a pain, as that raises the fees for house insurance. :-|
Doesn't stop the granting of permission to build large new estates :-0 :-| :-|
