Down in the SW of Western Australia we have just come out of a heatwave with temps locally at 38/39C :-D

Glad to hear all is well now Joan, maybe have a heated coil on that pipe in future for when you need it :-)

My daughter was able to come over & she spent an hour sorting the problem.
The pipes are lagged within the house, the problem was with the pressure pump on the water supply, we have a private water source & the pressure is not good, even though the pump is lagged & has extra covering & situated within a small shed it still froze.

Daughter managed slowly but surely to get it thawed out. I usually do leave a tap running very slowly but I forgot last night, due to me going to bed earlier than usual, I won't forget tonight !

Funny enough no snow over here in the city right now! I know you're not geared up the same over there so be careful everyone.
Joan your pipes try using a hairdryer on them to thaw them before they break! Start where it comes into the house if you can. If your pipes aren't insulated and you're worried about freezing in future leave them just running slightly to stop them freezing.

Wet here in Hampshire - But we DID have laying snow last night.
It had gone by this morning.

Just wild, wet and windy in the south east corner with no sign of snow near me.

Plenty here, west of the Pennines in Lancs. Thawing at the mo'.

Was it Ann, wonder which channel ? I watch GBNews throughout the day & not see my area mentioned, I am a few miles further north than Aberdeen.

I got a delivery of heating oil on Tuesday, the snow came down on Wednesday !
Thank goodness i got the oil before that happened as my house road is almost impassable.
The oil manny would have refused to come up it.

No snow here in North glos.

WE've had snow here for days, but Scotland/Aberdeenshire isn't get much of a mention (if at all) from what I've seen on the news,

Must have been low freezing temperatures last night as I don't have any water coming through the kitchen taps, or the bathroom taps !& toilet cistern !
