Getting frustrated about his now. still waiting for the Greatest Knight. annoying when I know it was due back on 6th. I even went into Cheltenham library today to see if it had crept back in therebut no luck. There was another one of hers there but I didn't get it as I have too many books here to read first. I wonder if Daisy saw this???? Ann Glos

I am actually just waiting for The greatest Knight. I assume as I ahve not heard that the person who has it out has not finished it because it is now overdue. Ann Glos

Oh dear the man in the library was covering my mistake. I wrote it all down and i put the author as John Steinbeck ,ooops. He was a nice man to do that . Now i know why he seemed vage . I have the right book then,lol.

Oh dear, I feel so silly I typed in To Kill a Mocking Bird the Medway computerised booking system has it as To Kill a Mockingbird They sorted it at the library this morning for me I am so used to finding the books by title only, that when it came to put the author in I didn't notice it was surname only, so I drew a blank there as well Oh well I have learnt something today, and the girls were so sweet, they probably thought they should humour this silly old lady :-))))

I went to the library this afternoon,they had Ugly ,in large print only.I got it but i'll make it my first read so as it gets back to library sooner. They had The greatest night -now that is a thick book. Tkamb wasn't in by that author they got me one by Harper lee.He said it was the same but not in the same style ? Ann the greenmetropolis is only good if someone wants the books you have for sale.Then again that's the same for anything that someone wants to sell. Somepeople i know make a fair bit of money on there.Myself i have sold 5 books, bearing in mind these were the same price new. Tina

what a let down at the library! NO copies of Ugly, NO copies of Greatest Knight (both have been ordered from another branch) and the only copy of TKAMB was large print. Took it and will have to see if I can get on with it or not. If you are trying to purchase Ugly in a bookshop, you will probably find it in the Biography section, or the Black Literature section - I went off to look in the Fiction without realising! Maz. XX

well, I looked on line and Glos main library had 2 copied of the Greatest Knight one of which was out, but it would not let me reserve the other one. Ugly was out in all local libraries except Cirncester which is 30 miles away. Anyway we have just been in to the main library and the copy that should be there isn't!! They don't know whee it is, it came back on 29th and has disappeared. The other copy is due back today so I have reserved it and they will let me know when it is in. Ugly I decided to buy for £4.99 in Woolworths, To Kill a Mocking Bird I have from daughter in law. Ann Glos
