Yes I'm staying with my aunt in Aberdeen. Thanks Linda, Very much appreciated. I'll send you my mobile number once I've charged my phone up I'm hoping to meet up with Woody at some stage but it depends upon how her mum is and what my aunt has planned. x lesley

Fortrie is near Turriff,dont know were exactly..Turriff is about 10 miles away from me..up near Banff way. If you get stuck with area give us a shout,will be more than happy to help. Sue x

Sorry about that. On the phone to friend who I am visiting in Leighton Buzzard before I go to Aberdeen. International jetsetter I am lol. I'm travelling up next Monday (must remind Aunt) and leaving following Monday. Don't know my plans exactly for next week, it depends on what days my aunt is off. (I think Friday & weekends) I usually spend the day time doing my family tree but thought that I should visit the places where my ancestors lived this time. Don't know th eaddress in Ellon. They married in Fortrie. is this part of Ellon, does it still exist? I may start bombarding you with questions about the area. Just tell me to shut up when it gets too much lol Thanks again

Lesley, Ellon is about 12 miles from Aberdeen... Its on the bus route... When are you going to Aberdeen? If you got to Ellon i could pick you up and you could come to my house..i live 12 miles away from Ellon. Sue x

There is definately a library but years since I have been there.. Dan, stop being a pain... You were on wingeingevery day..... You missed us and Lesley will miss us, besides I want to know what she is doing..I love aberdeen..

Thanks Sue Do you know how far is Ellon from Aberdeen? Is it hard to get to by public transport? I've a few ancestors who came from there. Gwen, Do you mean being on here tonight? This is preparing for my visit. I'm trying not to look at the other threads lol x lesley

Lesley, Normaly the libraries let you use thier pcs.I know the one in Ellon you just pay a small charge..i think a pound.. Im not too sure were the library is in Aberdeen..as i normally only hit the shops. Sue x
