Hi David, Yes it's much nicer being an adult but I still get misunderstood, still get very passionate about things & say what I think needs saying but when meeting new people inside I am just as shy as ever. I developed a way of covering when I first got a job in a pub at the age of 25. I pretended I was on stage giving a performance & as I have got older I still do that but at the same time I try to think of the other people & forget me. That way I cope with the terror inside. I was a good gal. Quiet and shy - school reports always said 'She has yet to blossom forth!'

Pretty hideous if I'm honest. Could change the mood in a room with one look and, despite appearances, was certainly no Sandra Dee! Daisy

hi hun, I was very innocent - was actually sweet 16 and never been kissed! was never allowed to go anywhere or do anything, never met boys as I went to all girls school. was a bit of a swot really I suppose. rebelled big-time later and certainly made up for it in my last 2 teen years!! I was very insecure, hated my glasses, my funny hair, my big nose, my small chest etc etc and felt I had to get attention in other ways. hmmmm not much changes !!! Maz. XX

Glad I'm not the only one that hated school. Thought hard about this & I think just three words sum up my teenage years. Shy, intense & misunderstood. Haven't changed much lol Vivienne xx

Sue!! I was thinking nooooooooooooo pmsl. I bet you were very like you are now:) That's sad Debby but just cos yr mum might have been wondering what the hell was happening to you it doesn't mean she wouldn't have been proud of you.

My poor mum must have been so disappointed with me My dad died when I was 10 Mum really proud of me as I was only 1 of 5 from my junior school to go on to Grammar school From 13 went downhill due to my own stupidity of preferring to be the clown of the class rather than study Single mum 6 weeks before my 18th birthday to a waste of space Wish she was around now so I could make it all up to her as she loved me no matter what I did. Also often wonder how I would have turned out if dad had been around :( Debby

I don't envy my life, yeah I'd say pre 17. Glad they're finished. Whoever said they are the best years of your life must have been some ignorant smackhead living in a bubble.
