Hi again Hevs, No I just highlite it and move slightly to the right then right click and select paste. But sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I do it the same way all the time thats why I can't understand why it works sometimes and not others. Its a pain when there a lot to copy and you have to do it by writing it out. Betty

Hi Hevs, Sorry it is copy and paste, shows how long it is I have been on a computer, many many years ago it was Cut and Paste. Showing my age here oohhhhh!!! Betty.

Hi Tina, I do change the * to and . after I put it on Internet Explorer but my problems usually start with cut and paste, unable to do it most time. I will try and keep my mouse steady after I Hightlite though as Heather said. Thanks for all your help everyone. Betty

Betty, I think the answers are probably on here, I have had the same probs as you before.Try and try again...if not , write it down and input manually. lol. Remember to do as Margaret says, though, and change the * or ( ) to dots. Good luck Tina

Hi Heather, that's the same with me, sometimes I try five or six times and it just doesn't work. I just usually write down what I am trying to cut and paste but it's a pain when its a lot to write down. Betty

Betty I mean after I've highlighted. I have a small desk and quite often my hand is on the right hand edge of the desk when I've highlighted and I think I've been moving off to the left...........don't know if that makes a difference though. Sometimes it works ok and sometimes not so I'm trying to find what it is that I do differently. So frustrating when it doesn't work, lol. Heather

Hi Heather, But you can't highlite without moving the mouse along each line you are copying. Or do you mean moving the mouse after you highlited. Betty

Betty I was having the same problem and asked Steve what I was doing wrong. I think that I may have been moving the mouse when I'd highlighted........I don't know if that makes a difference. I have a temperamental mouse, lol. Heather

Hi Margaret and Heather, Sorry didn't know there was another reply to my thread. I just left click the mouse and highlite it (blue) then right click to copy but it wouldn't. This happens from time to time don't know why, other times works ok. Betty
