Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256

Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 14 Apr 2006 09:52

Hi Dee, I am very worried about Ann and FFTMC! I just KNOW she will hate it!! It is in my top 5 all time and I am just loving reading it again. When I have finished I will get the film again from the library - it is brilliant! Stars Julie Christie, Alan Bates, Terence Stamp and Peter Finch (Oak, Troy and Boldwood respectively). Try and get hold of it if you can! Maz. XX

* sidles in sheepishly * Hello Ann, sorry but I have to admit defeat!! Someone else wanted Labyrinth so I had to return it to the library - I won't be getting it again to finish off I'm afraid. The thing is that I just didn't CARE how it finished! I think she was trying too hard and it was too far-fetched and too complicated for me. Anyway, it would be boring if we all liked the same thing! :-)) Maz. XX

I've just about finished Labyrinth now. I too like to read in bed but should probably have had a few early nights to get through this book! Went to the library last night and got Far from the madding crowd and ordered A pocketful of silver. Books are free to order at our library until August. Having never ordered one before I didn't realise you normally had to pay! Jeanette x
