According to my son he is all wired up with line to his wrist and one from his nose, It breaks my heart thinking of him like that! Davex

try not to worry too much- the 'up the nose' will be feeding him, which will keep his strength up ,and the line in his hand will no doubt be for drugs, for the same reason. Distressing for the parents but if there is any consolation the little mite is too young to remember the discomfort. hug for his mum & dad Jess

I know it probaly procedure but he is only little to be wired up like that he isnt even 8lb and I feel so upset for my son David and Lisa. Davex

Dave I know how hard it is to sit and watch and feel totally helpless, but hopefully this time next week it will all be over and he will be well on the road to recovery. Julia

My son had the same operation for a twisted gut at Pendlebury last December. He's now a fighting fit almost 2yr old little horror and has had no ill effects from the surgery. Fingers crossed that all goes well for you and the family Lou

A member of the site has just reminded me what the condition is called Pyloric Stenosis and I have now read a bit about it and printed a factsheet thank you Davex
