Sounds good to me Malc. So long as we have a general idea the rest can be sorted out fairly easily I would have thought. My only problem is going to be that I'll want to meet so many people I'll end up going too! Looks like you've got a GR Relay then Jenny!!! Well done! Daisy |

I'd love to meet up / hand over Ted in the south east..... Perhaps in the area bordered by Canterbury, Dover, Dungeness, Hastings and Ashford. |

Great idea we could get publicity too, local radio and TV stations along the route. i live near Weston-s-mare/Burnham-on-sea so would be more than happy to take teddy for a donkey ride on the beach Bev |

Hi Jenny, Great Idea! How about plotting the route. eg Lands End> Penzance> Cambourne> Redruth> Truro...... and onwards and see who is the nearest person who could take the baton onto the next place on the map to be collected by the next member, say over a couple of weeks! and photos taken of the change overs!! Karen PS good luck! |

I could take Pink Teddy from Hatfield, Herts to Waterloo station on London's South Bank, no probs, but it would have to be on public transport - and I don't know who'd sponsor me for sitting on a bus/train! CB >|< |

Sounds like fun..... I could get some sponsor forms drawn up for teddy and we could organise it between us!! There is also The Relay For Life http://groups.msn(.)com/PinksPages/relayforlife.msnw But that will mean all people being in one place!! Let me know if you want The Pink Fund involved and I'll drum up some Cancer Research UK T-shirts etc!! Pink xx |

I like the idea of the East to West or vice versa first. I am out all day today. Meeting Ann Lazenby in Durham. Will be back on around 7pm. Thank you all for your ideas. Does this mean I am not so silly after all? Jenny. xx |

Mommy, How about West to East first - as it's the shortest? Then North to South. Then (by way of finale) all around the coast. Gwynne (nothing if not ambitious) |
