I've only just managed to log on to see all the photos and hear what happened after I left (far too early, by all accounts!) It was lovely to meet everybody, fantastic to raise so much money, and definitely worth the trip, even if it was only for a short time. Love to you all, especially Gaynor. |

Nudged for anyone in Canada who missed it yesterday. Sorry I missed the presentation of your flowers to Gaynor due to an ill-timed visit to the 'power room', but they did look beautiful - a wonderfully kind gesture. Thank you all for brightening the day for us all, and most especially for Gaynor, of course! CB >|< |

Well, I don't know! What a swizz! That's the last time I leave early!!! There I was, feeling well pleased with meeting Gaynor AND eating a very belated private lunch with Royalty (Lynda in her diamond tiara and dangly bits round the ears, gasbagging with me in a corner), and it seems I missed even more memorable events! I wondered why 'Jock the Scotsman' in a kilt passed David and I on the stairs as we were leaving! I don't remember seeing any Argentinians either - or was he an Argentinian just dressed in a kilt for disguise? And what was in his sporran? I think we should all be told, Lynda! LoL If anyone had said there was going to be a FEMALE stripper as well, then I doubt Dave would have been so keen to get home! Having seen all the great photos posted so far, I really do think it's time I stuck to my diet and did more exercise. Perhaps I could auction off a few chins! CB >|< P S Thanks to all for the nice comments - I'm not a reporter, just a prize gasbag! |

Hi C.B Great report on todays 'quiet little' get together lol. It was fun wasn't it, Gaynor and her family were lovely, and such good sports as well. I am still chuckling over the strippers, worth the train ticket alone ;-))) It was really nice to finally meet so many of you and put names to faces, and as for the landlord, what a find he was. Lets hope we all get to go back there for the next meet up... Yvette |
