Hello, We have cold meat and pickles for late lunch on Boxing day, cannot beat it. Merry Christmas.

Although we don't do it so much now, we always used to have cold meats (ham, pheasant etc) and pickles (onions, red cabbage) for Christmas Day breakfast. I've no idea where the tradition came from, and never met anyone else who does it. I often wondered whether it was a Norfolk thing, but when my step-father first met my mother he'd never heard of such a thing. Does anyone else do it ?
