Christine, I was talking about way back in Black & White TV days (well our house anyway) some schools quiz? I hated Blankety Blank didnt Terry Wogan host that programme at sometime yuk. I did like the Generation Game with Larry Grayson and Isla St. Clare. Golden Shot was done by a block called Norman Vaughan (Roses Grow on you add) and a Mixed Race Yorkshire Man who had an annoying habit of calling everyone flower. God TV was in good in those days, wasnt it! LOL> Pat x

No not today Christine. Be back in tommorow. Another thing i remember is that the blocks lit up a very pinky/purple colour and the the host was about 50 with brown hair. I have seen him on TV again since then but just talking about past programmes and that. Any ideas who I mean?

I'm only 16 so you'll probably thing my `old shows` are like brand new, but I remember being at my Great Nan's bungalow and watching something with an Des O'conner where you had to put the key in the boxes and not say yes or no. (I think) Also, one with an irishman where you had these sets of blocks running up the centre of the screen which lit up as each question was answered correctly. Can't remember anything else about that one. Roy walker on Catchphrase was good. On before Gladiators on Saturdays I remember.

He did one after called Raise the roof, a property quiz. I don't think there seems to be so many quizzes on kids t.v. now, it's sad in a way.
