Rick would I even suggest the remote possibility of you owning a padded, hooded rain-jacket??? |

Christine, I put the ticket stubs in the CD covers these days, but didn't always hang on to them before. I do have a set list from the Dolly Mixture (remember them?) in an old scrap book from a gig at the Moonlight Club about 1980. Bet Maz is killing herself over that ! More proof of anorakdom - as if it were needed :-) Rick. |

Well Trish, when I saw Debbie Harry in the 70s it was IMPOSSIBLE to take my eyes off her ! Seem to remember she was wearing a white miniskirt too - those were the days ! Rick. |

I was lucky enough when I was working in London to work for once at a music company and then a well known radio station so I could blag free tickets to gigs I was interested in. But I would pay major bucks to see the old Two Tone gigs, even tough it means travelling back in time lol. It still cracks me up the Daniel O'Donnell gig Shhh! Daniels singing! |

What exciting lives and events, and what a mixture. Heres a few that was THE MOST memorable. Hubby saw Bob Marley when he came to England in the 70s. Billy Paul.Remember him? Me and Mrs Jones.England.1970s The best of all for us was The Gypsy Kings on Miami Beach, millenium eve,1999. What a crowd, what fireworks, what a night. Blondie was there, sorry but didnt notice much of her,too busy looking at the stars, and being amazed of being on a warm beach, whilst the rest of rellies back in England were freezing cold. I was the luckiest person on earth. Love reading all your stories, and what a laugh. night night all trish P.S. I forgot the BEATLES,how could I. |

Rob I remember Buster Bloodvessel, lead singer with Bad Manners. He used to be a roadie of sorts at The Edinburgh Playhouse, which was next door to the shop I worked in. After their first appearance on Top Of The Pops he went to sign on for his dole money and the guy had seen them on the show and promptly stopped his claim. Silly B****r!!! |

Oasis Earls Court 95 the first night at the preshow party and managed to get a copy of the recording of teh second night Bad Manners I think at the Lord Raglan 92 cant remember just remember coming out totally drenched in sweat and my watch stopped due to condensation Stiff Little Fingers Astoria 94 popped my knee out and back in while in the mosh pit. Manic Street Preaches Leeds Town and Country Club saw Catatonia supporting them and I forgot to order at the bar , got chucked out by bouncers even though I was on guest list to aftershow party Madness Edingburgh playhouse very last gig they played in Scotland before they split up and Madstock 1 when they reformed Ian Dury on Support excellent. Mighty Mighty Bosstones Garage Glasgow 2003 showed up the youthful members of my party by dancing nonstop through their set and going wild when they played Tin Soldiers ERRMM Daniel O'Donnel at the Irish Festival North London where we got a bit drunk and provided entertainment to a couple of old ladies who generously shared their picnic for making them laugh, after being told off to be "quiet Daniels singing", which of course got us doing the exact same for any noise throughout his set |
