Address 50 Rivett Street Derby. This was in my family for years. I've been told it's where the register office is now, on a roundabout??? Went to a wedding there once without realising. Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks, Helen |

Rivett Street ran between approximately 52.9193,-1.4714 and 52.9207,-1.4701, on the eastern side of the city centre. It was cut in two by a new road (Traffic Street) built across it diagonally in the 1930s: this would become part of the eastern section of the Derby Ring Road after WW2. I believe that the Rivett Street buildings had all been demolished by the end of the 1960s (the northern half went first). |
