Lots of lovely replies, sorry if the original post assumed it was a "man thing". That was tongue in cheek. |

There is a vulcan near the road side at RAF Waddington air field on display all year round. It dosen't fly but it's still a beautiful sight when I drive past |

This is something that does interest some of us ladies, you only have to go to any airshow and look at the Vulcan to the sky stand and see the amount of ladies who are interested. |

hubby had heard that it was only going to be at 3 airshows this year , Duxford, Waddington and Fairford. Guess who's going to Fairford again this year? I can't wait to see it up in the air again. The sound that it makes is so distinctive. I was lucky enough to see it several times at the Halfpenny Green airshows during the 70's. |

I was disappointed it didn't seem to make the national news at 6 pm, but there was some good coverage on East Midlands Today at 6.30. (Some pictures on the BBC website.) |

We were watching about it on the news this morning, that particular one was located at East Midlands airport some years ago, my boys have happy memories of it. |
