Whoops! Late checking in...!

Had a lovely time, it was great to get out and see all of you brilliant people again. Sorry if I embarrassed anyone by showing off my (not quite so) baldy head! Gwen, when it gets long enough I think I'll go the same colour as you!

Thanks to Maz for taking over the organizing from our Lynda, and everyone else who made it such a fun meet.

Smashing to see you Jean, and looking so well, and a big MWAH for the delicious box of chocs... xxx

And if Rick and Jan are looking in, ta for the hugs and the Smarties, LOL!!....hope you have a good holiday xx

Just popping in (while i still can, lol) to say what a lovely day we had yesterday, and yes we got home safely...about 10:45.

Unusually for us we were among the last to leave, and along with Suzy made sure Rosie got a taxi home in safety......not sure who we were protecting, Rosie or the Londoners, lol

We had a great time and it was well worth the drive there and back, but it's definitely a stay over next time....yes Dee there will be a next one, although it may have a different name.

It was lovely to see so many old faces, and a few new ones, and a shame some of the old ones were missing, such as Jan and Rick, Daisy and Joy. We missed you.

I had a great time and it was good to put faces to the names. I did behave myself and only have one drinkypoo as I knew the journey home would be a bit frought. Well, half the underground was shut so I had to get two underground trains to get me to Liverpool Street. I made my connection there by the skin of my teeth, but to crown it all....I had to wait on a cold Wickford station for 55 mins for my connecting train home. Would you believe it, I am only 55 miles from the centre of London but it took 3 hours to get home.

Can I say a big thank you to everyone who welcomed me and came and introduced themselves. I look forward to the next meet with eager anticipation.

Hi folks, sorry not posted before, been slumped in front of the TV!

I had a fanatastic time - what a lovely bunch we are :-))) it was so nice to meet up with old friends (that means YOU Julie pmsl) and get to know a few people better who I hadn't chatted to before.

Message from Dee Bibliomaniac ... It was great to meet everyone, I am really glad I came, can someone put a message on the GR meet thread to let everyone know I got home OK and that I really enjoyed it. Dee
