I had a lovely time with my baby, bless his little heart.
They had been for their 'postnatal'. Mummy was fine, but baby was breach so had to have a test on his little limbs.
Doctor woke him up, poked and prodded him, and upset him so much, he was crying *real sobs and tears* bless him.

mummy made him a bottle which calmed him down.. while I promised him he would never have to go to that nasty doctor again.
But like all the lies we tell the wee souls....
He has injections coming up in two weeks time!;-0(

We seem to be taking so much time off these days, do think it may be the heat?

Liz, your poor pal, and poor you. I know exactly what you are feeling love.
When my mum was dying I went into her room one day and she was crying, and I cuddled her. I will never forget the shock of the *feel of her tiny little head*.... God love her.
I'm glad your friend is going home... it is hard for her dad, but for the patient it is a good thing. XX
AND... there you are Carole, a lovely little message for everyone... how do you do it love?

I'm off again now.
Tony went out yesterday and bought enough food (for his dad and me) to last us until Christmas... I swear.
His argument was.. "if I leave on Saturday, and dad gets ill on Sunday.... how will you both manage?"
We are so lucky to have him, and we love him to bits......... but we have our moments when we could cheerfully .........shall I just leave that floating in the air? ;-0) ha ha ha
I just hope they have a nice relaxing time, all 4 of them.

We will not get the chance to miss him... he will phone daily!!! aaaagggghhhh !!

Just to let you know that I am just off the telephone after speaking to our Yk Caz...needless to say she has even more hurts after falling down a few stairs....she is in her bed, the only place she feels a little more comfortable and safe, bless her.
She has not been on her computer since the fall but knows that we are looking out for her...she sends you all her love and thanks xx.

I hope they make your friend more comfortable so that he final days are peaceful ones. Never mind about your cousin you can't do everything, especially as she lays down when you can visit.
Hope you get the licence sorted soon, that seems to be taking a long time (or is it me?) But I thought he drove when you went to Norfolk so maybe I have missed something.

Hi all, very tired, been sorting things out re O.H. licence or trying to anyway. He is having to bus in to work and may get a bike for next week when he is on earlies as no buses at that time.

My friend has had more radiotherapy to try and shrink one of the tumours to make her a little more comfy, she will be leaving the hospice in the next couple of days to go back to her Dad's which is what she wants. Won't be so easy to go and see her but will do what I can. She is so thin, it's heartbreaking to see her, and I hope the pain relief can be kept up as much as possible, it isn't 100% and she often weeps when it comes on badly.

My cousin isn't very happy that I haven't visited after all, but can't be helped. Two years running I have arranged to visit her and the first time she broke her wrist so couldn't cope with visitors, wouldn't let me go and help her, then the second time she broke her ankle so same thing happened. Would be ok if she was happy about me going in autumn but she is adamant she only wants visitors when the light nights are here so she can be taken out! Hey ho!

Off to urologist today after my wee problems this year and have to have blood tests done too so will get them done at hospital while I am there. Then I can go and visit my friend on the way back.

I have been very tired this week. And have another day to work yet. Went to see phychologist this morning. She is pleased with my improvement. I feel different now. So hope it keeps on getting better.

well got on my first horse in ten year this week. talk about a laugh. I have to do 100h of riding if I want to do my stablehand course funny but I don't bend the same as I used to(might have someing to do with the extra 20kg LOL), think the legs have got shorter too. (mine not the horses) Have had my own horses but have only been doing ground work with them because of there old age and ailments 34y,28y and the baby of the paddock was 19y but they have all gone to heaven over the last 12 months so I've decided to brave the saddle again at a friends racing stables if nothing else will give them a bl###y good laugh talk about out of the fire into the frying pan! hugs to all love Irene

Haven't been on much as I have had a busy couple of days. Dad is still in hospital, has a chest infection. Not much more to tell.

Nephew has had an op to put two plates in his jaw, and sent home next day. The hospital are desparate for beds.

hi everyone ive not read through reasent posts yet but do hope that your all well ,as for me i had a bad night last night crying etc ,think all whats going on at moment has caught up with me ,well up date on hubby ,weve been docs every day this week so far ,he is still anemic ,stoke rang our gp ,we waiting for appiontment still for his eating and weight problem ,then had blood tests today ,and to top it all of when he was sent to hospital over a week ago as he had a funny turn while there he had tests and x ray if you rember well now he has fluid on right lung doc rang me tonight we have to go see him in the morning then go to the hospital with a letter so dont no what will happen there ,he still gets breathless when walking so that could be why ,my heads in a spin and all over the place so please forgive me for not getting back to you all at the moment but sending hugs to you all xxxelaine xx

Still having son problems.His resits are due next week and I have no idea if he will go .He certainly has done no studying .!!

Ann, Thanks for letting me know about Gill, I feel for her.
I have never (so far!) been banned, and to be banned for nothing is hard on anyone.
Just tell her that we are all thinking of her please.
And my shoulder id pretty bad at the moment.

It is never the 'right time' for sad news is it?
I had a phone call this morning from my friend To tell me how ill her friend is.
Just a young woman, her oldest child is only 24, and her youngest 22. So sad for them all.
When I think like that.... she must be ages with my daughters, bless her.
Beside that sort of news, my pains are as nothing!!

Look after yourselves all my lovely pals, and we will get through all that we have to.

What a weekend.

Dad is comfortable in bed at the hospital. Didn't look too well to me yesterday, but my sister went tonight and said he looked okay. But has a chest infection. The catheter has been taken out and he is passing fluid okay.

Went to a wedding party last night. Then after a late night the neighbours sons were having a row. One put the others head through a window! Girlfriends were screaming and crying. We called the police, three cars turned up! Five police, one son ended up in a cell for a night. Hope it gives him a wake up call.

My nephew got hit by a "friend" this afternoon messing about. Jamie had his jaw broken in two places, so is now in hospital waiting for an op tomorrow to have two plates to repair his jaw.
