Oh boy. it's so hot, I am sweltering.
Called the gas company and the man has just been here to arrange air conditioning for the upstairs flat where Colleen & the kids reside. They are afraid to use a big fan because of Gareth's inqisitive fingers. The A/C is really a necessity here because the heat is literally overpowering, and humid. otherwise we can't sleep. It's really a medical necessity too because of Gareth - if his temp goes up he's much more likely to seize overnight. he seems happy enough, but is dragging both legs, and actually said "can't get up" when he was sitting on the floor.
It's already over 90 degrees today. I'll be gardening at 6am if this keeps up, too hot by 10am.
I hate this weather, I absolutely hate it. But my kids are here so I stay.
have to have another shower now to become presentable for work this afternoon.
Good evening to all,
Forgive me for not mentioning names, just have to check in quickly today.
Hugs,
Mary

Elaine.... that is wonderful news.
I understand your worries love.... but you were worried before!!
THIS time, he has a future... he will be fine, and you know that.
I wish the doctors would move themselves for Allan. The only thing he wants at this time is a promise that they will do something.... not a lot to ask is it?

Ann, Allan's kidneys have healed up , but the chest is still not right!!
But as I said..... "I'll see a doctor on MONDAY"..... What a man... I have to fight with him every time he needs to see a doctor!!!

Mary, sorry about that love, but I did try.
I sent it opened, so I do not understand it...
I'll put in a *special request* for a windfall for you! ;-0)
And as I have said before... a Nana in a million you are.x

Angela, you were Eddie's family, and he would be so pleased to have you there.
Don't worry about not feeling as sad as you THINK you should feel.
When my mother died... I was so happy that she had gone.. just like Eddie she suffered. The suffering ending was the most prominent thought in our minds.
god bless love.x

Well folks, I hope you all realise that I do think of all of you throughout my days?
Even if I don't remember to say so in here.

My hand having a bad day.... but I'm still able to type, so I'm here.
Allan is playing with his Father's day Present, which Tony bought him.
he gave him it early, as he decided that his dad need a lift.
It is a presentation set of JOHN MACCORRMACK (spelling?) the Irish Tenor whom Allan adores. I wish you could have seen his face when he got it.
He hugged Tony then ME.... I explained that I am not his daughter!! giggles.....

Anyway, I will see you all later and look after yourselves.
love

Angela, hope that the funeral goes OK next week. so sad that Eddie does not have family. But you will be there which is what he would have wanted I am sure.

Carole, I am pleased that you enjoyed the ballet and that you managed without having to go to the loo in the midle. I am sure you felt good about that.

Deanna, hope Alan's cold etc clears up soon.

Mary, thatw as good getting all those planted before you left for work. It is sunnyish here but not that warm.. I wish we could share a bit of heat with you. You can keep the humidity though.
EB I am sure that you will be OK come the day.

to others who have posted recently - Betty, Ben, Jules, good to see you. Gill are you OK?
YCaz, how are your feet? still getting better?
((((hugs)))) to everyone else - too many to mention now.

Hello everyone, Thanks for all your thoughts since Eddie passed away. I have been popping in from time to time but didn't know what to post. I haven't been as bad as I thought I would be! Just thinking that at least he isn't suffering anymore. His funeral is on tuesday at 9.30. Has taken a long time to sort out because he has no family or next of kin. Looks like there will just be me, my daughter & my grandson (13) at the funeral. A couple of friends may come too. So sad that there will be so few of us.
Best wishes to eveyone who is suffering & hugs for those who need them!

morning Carole and everyone
I'm ok at present.Didnt manage to get out for a drive last night because dau-in-law didnt pick littlest grandaughter up till quarter past seven and hubby had a meeting to go to that started at eight so no time.
Maybe tonight will be better.I'm trying to keep as calm as possible and avoiding stressful places/situations at least untill after my hosp appointment.I get very snappy and irritable when I'm tense, even with the grandchildren and even though I feel guilty I cant help it.
Glad you enjoyed the ballet,Carole.Hope this is the start of lots of lovely outings for you xx
love and (((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))))
to everyone who needs it today.

Thanks Deanna, I couldn't open the second time either, my PC said there was an error which would not allow me to open it. Guess I'll have to keep on working for a living.
Re Gareth, the paed agrees it's neurological this foot/leg dragging, now both legs involved. He's to have his seizure medication upped, he's probably had a seizure in the night, could explain the sudden increase in bed-wetting.
Poor little man, he's so dear, he came home from school early and said "go doctor checkup". Colleen will keep him home tomorrow to keep an eye on him. frightening to realise this is the "climber", better get his meds sorted before he seizes on the roof one day!!
The good part of my day is that I got tomatoes, peppers, garlic and onions planted before coming to work. It's really muggy here, hot and humid, supposed to be in the 90's by the weekend.
back to work, have a good night.

Hi

I am a lot better now lately. I did the right thing by leaving that site. I dont need people like that member slagging me off to other people. He keeps saying to girls "Hows your fine little self today" in his pathetic sayings. He put "Spaceman" as an occupation on his profile.

As I said, calling someone a "loon" and a "nut" without proof is libellous wouldnt you agree?

Mary, you could not open it??

That is awful, does that mean you will never have any spare money??? ;-0)
Well, you knew that anyway didn't you.

Did you get my whinging, whining e-mail last night?
I was feeling really down and felt like a good cry... off loading it onto you helped... are you depressed now?

Anyway, have only just managed to get on here, in the last half hour.

my lovely doctor called me yesterday and said that my blood is good.. normal.... there's something new for me!
I have to continue taking the iron but only twice a day now, and then I am to have another blood test.
They have decided that it is my hiatus hernia which has caused all the troubles, and so I will have to have the iron for a good while.
She is so lovely. She has a laugh and a giggle with me, and she must be like that with others... she is quite shy too... but I thank God she came to our surgery. just at a time when I need a doctor I could trust.
How are the rest of you then?
It has been a lovely day here, I hope it has been where you are too... lifts the spirits... but I believe that we will have rain again tomorrow!

Christine, I only just realised that you came on in the middle of the night.... you will NEVER catch me at that time!
Lots of people do come on at night, but me?? I like my sleep too much.
Are you okay then Christine?

Elaine how is your lovely husband?
Mine is still coughing , and spluttering , even after a week on antibiotics..... but "I'm fine....!" MEN...

Jules, which tablets made you bruise?
I have bruises all over the place... Allan says people will think he beats me!
I've told him to be good, or I'll tell them he does!! ;-0)

Better go everyone, see you tomorrow.
Tea time in our house is at 6.00, and I want to wash and get into my nightie first.
I do like my little home, and closing the doors and getting ready for bed is one of my comforts.
We will not have any visitors tonight.

God Bless and look after yourselves.
Good night all.
Sorry I have not mentioned you all, but you know I luvs yah.

Hi Deanna, I couldn't open it, but thank you for your efforts on my behalf!!
I'm really concerned about my grandson Gareth this morning, he is dragging his legs, because he's autistic he is unable to verbalise if he has pain, it doesn't seem to be behavioural, but why is he dragging his legs, keeping his ankles stiff. This happened once before, after a seizure, dragged one leg for weeks then suddenly stopped, he was investigated to see if he may have had a stroke but a CT showed nothing.
So I am on stand-by this morning. to pick him up from school if need be.
Surely it's not too much to ask for one day to have no crises . . . . I'm trying to get the garden planted . . .
off I go with phone in my hand, thank goodness for cordless phones.
have a good day all,
love
Mary

MARY....... Worry thee not!

I have just sent you a money angel by e-mail.... try it and see.

I only got it this morning, sent it out to my friends, and now????

I have had a POSTAL ORDER from the Post office... for £46.77p.
Could have done with a bit more, but well... never look a gift horse in the mouth and all that. ;-0)

I will be back later to chat, but I have to go and at least LOOK as if I've been working!!
Have a good day all of you.
