Hello All,well went to see the specialist on monday and he said about my slip disc operation is out it will only cause me more pain,and he also said i might have to have opertion on my foot which he said i was better off not having,but also its not the slip disc that is giving me the pain its the arthritis in my spine and feet i told him i dont sleep very well with the pain,anyway going to see my own docter on tuesday before i go and visit my family its very hot here at moment and im not asun person

Hi everyone, I am only on to say that I am off....
I have not been well and thought since I felt better, that I would come on the pooter for a while.
Done a couple of things and now I realise that I am not well yet.
So, I'm off again to do NOTHING!
That is harder than you think, isn't it? ha ha ha
However, all who are waiting for mail from me, I will get around to it, but I have to go now... not as well as I thought.
DO NOT WORRY...... I will live, I just need to rest.

Good Morning,just wanted to say thank you all for being there ,its not being 70 that bothers me .i have so much more going on in my life only my closest friends know there is much more going on in my life ,which i wont put on boards

Hello Caz, I am beginning to feel a bit like you, with my shoulder which has an inflammation in the shoulder capsule that just won't go away.

My own diabetes appears to have rocketed. Last night two hours after dinner the glucose was 17.5 and this morning was 14.5. I know this is very bad and had a full blood test- I already had the referral. Some effort at diet and some exercise kept it at bay for nearly five years, but now I am worried. I will probably see my doctor next Monday at the latest once he has the results.

Deanna, So pleased you got your e mail sorted and sorry I couldn't help you with advice.

Joyce, you need to see the doctor about how you feel, I too will be 70 this year and certainly don't feel as if my life is over. Instead of phoning your grandchildren why not send them a postcard, would they reply to a letter do you think? It might be a novelty. And how about asking them to phone you sometimes? Does Jan know you feel like this, he is good to you so you must talk to him about it. I hope you soon feel better.
Caz, so sorry they still have not sorted out your pain, you really don't need that on top of everything else, wish there was something I could do to help. I am thinking of you as usual.
Mary, yes saw Janey's post about the earthquake. Scary. Glad they see to be sorting Sarah out and hope Em doesn't have measles.

Dear friends, I've had a couple of blue days too, can we blame the weather??? We had an earthquake day before yesterday, very rare here, but I thought my blood pressure must be sky high!! Then realised that everyone else was feeling peculiar too!!
Glad to say that Sarah's doctor changed her med (slow release instead of the chewable,instant response pills)and already she is much better, more even-keeled. Now Em is unwell, with both pink-eye and a peculiar rash which I hope is not measles. We are about to leave for the Dr's office.
Hugs all round, especially gentle ones for our Dutch.

You have had a few things go wrong for you lately so it is no surprise to me that you are in a state just now.
Rest up love and see to yourself for a change.
You have had your children and done them proud... you are not expected to sort out their children's needs and problems.
It is very expensive phoning abroad on a mobile. It is dearer phoning locally on a mobile

Joyce I've read this and yes I did tell you to read the messages and replys from people and to tell us how you are feeling, I thought it would help you. But I never expected this, and to say I told you to do it as well. Why didn't you tell me yesterday on the phone you felt like this, you were your normal self but upset about the funeral. I feel for you but to say you would be better off if your life is over hurts, you have a lot of friends on here who will be shocked as I am. I didn't know you felt that way, and your birthday will be good as all Dutch families give the best parties and gifts, you told me that.
I'll ring you tomorrow and we'll have a good chat, but please don't think that way, think of your family if they found out.
Hubby has arrived so must go.

Joyce, I don't know what to say. But your feelings are just the blues talking.
70? Ha. Should be plenty of life in Dutch yet. I know that it must be hard when people around you speak some English but cannot understand what you are feeling.
Sounds like a visit to the doctor might help you however.

Hello all my friend Caz said i should put this on here im having aterrable time at the moment cant stop crying ,not eating or sleeping so much worry had to tell my family i will be over in two weeks.for the last time as i cant i r afford to visit them,i feel as if my life is over. alone all day know one to talk to as there dont speak english,i was looking forward to my 70 birthday but not anymore had to tell g,children cant ring them on there mobiles cost to much,and in so much pain with slip disc and the aritritis in my feet neck and back,were do i go from here ive cried all day .and i think it would be best for all if my life was over,sorry to put this up but dont no which way to turn

I have tried restoring it many many times Ann.
I have just tried to set up another system, but no luck!
I don't think VIRGIN are very interested in my problems with Incredimail, but I may phone them in the morning to see if they can help me set up the Virgin mailing system.

I am exhausted Ann, and so upset I could cry, and probably will.
I did not need this and to think that they don't even bother to help.
They keep sending messages to say, that paying members will be seen to first!! WELL... there's a surprise. I will not be paying I can assure you.

I have been self taught on this thing and although I am quite good on it and able to hold my own ... against it's abuses of me, this has beaten me.
I have e-mailed them and had an e-mail back, which just did not work.

I am with VIRGIN MEDIA. Do you think that they may be able to sort it then?
I am having a dreadful time and feel so isolated without my e-mailing system.

They did tell me what to do, but it included sending them a report!
I cannot send ANYTHING. They are not being very helpful.
I have had advice from some kind members and I am trying, but I am getting a bit afraid now.
