Can I suggest that if anyone is interested in the tips on here that they copy and paste them into word or similar. Don't forget the previous thread disappeared.

Dizzi, now you have started there is no stopping you. The tree with circle shapes sound great, draw a tree trunk free hand on card and cut it out.

Jan you are enjoying this aren't you?

Managed 4 pages at home on sunday once I'd had a sulk about my crop being cancelled. Feeling under the weather today, hate it when it's wet and miserable so am going to sit and push pieces of paper around see if that cheers me up

AnninGlos Report 2 Feb 2010 12:29

Lol Sarah, pushing around lovely papers does cheer you up doesn't it. Hope it works for you. Made two cards yesterday but not done a scrap page for a week now, better get back to it soon!!

I want to scrap my photos of the full moon and Mars... it was so special it just took my breath away.... and I am just not sure how to start..... the photo has the ghostly skeletal branches of the trees in the forefront, and I love the effect... so want to keep that in somewhere... not now though... must get on with swearing at the cobwebs in my bedroom, lolol

Love

Daff xxxx

cobwebs - I know them well LOL
Had to take a break from my paper pushing to do a little cleaning myself and took myself off for a walk because the sun came out. It's vanished again now behind big black clouds but it's amazing what twenty minutes in the fresh air can do for the mind.
Right back to work got to find a B&B in the New Forest for July

I finished the page :)
Something just wasn't working but I turned the main piece of paper around so the stripes were horizontal instead of vertical and suddenly it all fell into place.

AnninGlos Report 2 Feb 2010 17:49

Strange that isn't it Sarah, how all of a sudden things fall into place.

I have now made four cards so hopefully will be able to start my next scrap page.

My problem is so many interests, so little time and so long spent wasting time on here Lol!!!!

Scatty I think we can all recognise that scenario LOL

My box of bargains arrived yesterday and I was a bit surprised, I didn't realise I'd bought as much as I had. Better get using it I think

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 4 Feb 2010 15:33

Jan Lol!!! What I don't understand is, I have loads of stuff, I have reels and reels of ribbons, why then when I am making a card or doing a scrap page do I not have the colour ribbon I want to use??

SarahSalopianScrapper

SarahSalopianScrapper Report 4 Feb 2010 17:55

It doesn't matter what it is or for that matter how much stuff you have you will never have exactly the shade you need of something - fact! I should know i have miles of ribbons and tons of paper flowers yet the ideal shade is never there when i want it. Think maybe I should only buy in black and white.

Scatty

Scatty Report 4 Feb 2010 18:53

Now then that was something I did pick up yesterday some ribbon 4 different colours on a spooly thing was on bogof too not that I need any yet but Im thinking ahead lol i also brought a big selection pack of sparkles and various other bits and pieces :-))
