I nearly used the diagonal but couldn't make up my mind, the rest of the page is straight and I thought it would be better if it matched.

I'm feeling pleased with myself because I've done my page and I managed to work an idea I already had so that it fits with this week's challenge over on the UK Scrappers site. Think I'll leave it for tonight and get a photo of it to put online tomorrow when hopefully I'll have some natural light

Hi all, I have just recieved some new markers by Letreset, called Promarkers I saw them on a craft channel.they seem very versatile, I want to stamp some background papers , so it should be interesting the Range had some Anita stamps reduced, so got a couple, also a craft shop is closing down and got a few from there... sad really I had literaly (sp) had hundreds of the stamps when I used to do cards , but got fed up and got rid of them all !!!
idiot , but I never thought I would need them again....

re; the knitting with pom-pom wool, I have made five, at first I did it the way it was shown, but it uses so much wool and was so dense, so I did less stitches and adapted the pattern so it knitted up very fast, one scarf that was made up with thicker wool had only four stitches but when it was done it was just right, the finer po-pom I did with six stitches and that turned out o k. it seems you can make hats out of the wool, but I am no knitter really, couldnt knit a garment to save my life, so I wont be doing any more, unless its a scarf....lol....

Dizzi it was a good idea making pockets, they look good....

love Jean xx

Afternoon all.... I have changed my mind, lol..... I can't get the photo to look good... hubby is going to play with it on Photoshop at the weekend... so I am going to make a start on my Wedding Album.... it will have not just our wedding, but family weddings, too.... at the moment, they are scattered all over the place, but I can practice on this album... and then do a *proper* one for us later.

So..... I am going to make a start with the Bridesmaids...

Wish me luck... I want to try and stay away from bling..... but their hats/bands were swansdown, so I get to play with feathers for the first time, lolol ;¬))

Love

Daff xxxx

Meant to say Tomorrow evening I am supposed to be going to a new craft group in the church hall. Run by a stamp it up rep so all about stamping, so again I hope it doesn't snow. Although I make a lot of cards and have a lot of stamps I don't use them as often as I could so I am hoping for some tips. It was funny when she returned my call, she had almost lost her voice so it was hard to communicate given my hearing problem, I had to give the phone to OH to speak to her, anyway she has a place and it is £7 I assume that is per evening. She will supply a lot of the stuff used for that although we have to take our own glue and scissors. It is a two hour course. 7.30 -9.30.

I had a friend who used to do stampin' up and some of their stuff is very nice, sadly when she opened her shop she had to give it up, but her shop is lovely and makes up for it LOL

Today I have mostly been making ATCs to return some swaps. It basically means that I get to play with inks and stamps and make a bit of a mess. These were just general ones but I've got some to make with a birth year theme and am trying to figure how to do mine because I want to cover two events; the queen's jubilee and Elvis's death.

And if anyone wants to see what I was up to yesterday there are pics on my blog http://craftamongthelandrovers.blogspot.com/2010/02/special-day.html

Love your blog Sarah, very professional and readable. Very entertaining.

I liked the fascinator too, I hate hats on me so wouldn't wear it, but it is pretty. Not weedy at all Lol!!!!

I nipped (lol) in my local craft shop today....two hours and two mugs of tea later I left with my stash...including my first ever bit of bling lol.

Linda B, no such thing as 'nipping' into a craft shop is there? And a craft shop with a tea/coffee shop, lucky you.

Just spent a couple of hours scanning some old photos ready to do some of the Golden Wedding scrap pages. (Actually these were all from the 4 years before we got married. as I am putting them in too.)
