I thought that all the cards on the site were lovely. I have just spent the evening collaging/decoupaging a letter rack. I am now looking for some inspiration re a rather exhausted looking firescreen that I bought on ebay.

Funny enough Jude I could never knit a sweater to save my life....lol....dont really know why the dolls came easier for me,
I could mange those scarves on big needles, but anything smaller forget it !!I added my comment on caz s cards on the blog but for the record on here I agree with you Ann..... lovely....I have been making up some card blanks I had, so all I had to do was decorate them, so good way to experiment with different materials.... have you decided what you are going to make with all the fabric you have Jude? I want to get some wide white lace ,I am hopefully going to make a cherub cradle, instead of a christening card for my neighbours little girl....any ideas where I can get some lace?

Have you got a market near you Jean? glos indoor market has a haberdashery stall and they always have a basket of lace pieces on the counter. I got two pieces about a metre long each of inch wide lace for 50p a piece. I look forward to seeing that card. I have just been gathering a few bits together for when we are next away in case we get any wet days.

I'm a scrapper in New Zealand - and use the Creative Memories range of products because they are acid and lignin free, so deemed archival. I do traditional 12 x 12 and use their Digital Programme too which is so fantastic. I am doing my fathers heritage album using that, and have scanned all photos and memorabilia to use in it. This is a fantastic way to do heritage - you can crop photos (without cringing) and if you stuff up can 'undo' and start again.
The finished product is a personalised hard covered book that not only will stand the test of time but is always a great talking point that wows everyone.
They have consultants that are generally a wealth of information and they offer workshops. Check out if there is one in your area.

Hello Paula nice to meet you, hope we get to see some of your work have a word with Ann in Glos she has just set up a blog and its great.....

thanks Jude will have a look.

Ann the lace I am after is about 4-6 inches in width, the crib I want to make instead of sending a card, is a crib on a stand and fits in a see through box, they call them heirlooms to hand down generation to generation, they are by Arty Farty Crafts if you google it you will see what I mean....they are so pretty and you sit a tiny teddy on it too...

I have been rooting about and found some templates I have one of them is a guitar so Ann if you want it its yours, I wont use it again,
just let me know....

Love Jean xx

See how ell this thread works. Well done Jude for pointing Jean in the right direction.

Thank you Jean I would love the template. Is the envelope likely to not go through the letter box? We will be away until 19th so maybe it might be better if you held it until then. Thank you though for the thought.

Paula welcome. Your memory book/heritage book sounds great. PM me if you want the address for the blog.
