Hi Lyndsay, thanks for your message, and thanks Gwyn for suggesting to Lyndsay that she send me a direct message - as you rightly suspected, I hadn't been checking old threads lately. I have replied directly to your message. :-) |

No, that is the right one - Joan was born in 1920. The 1950 marriage for R I Moses in Gloucester is Joan's father Richard remarrying after he was widowed. I don't know about the 1950 one in Watford, but the 1940 one fits for the son of Richard senior. Thanks to everyone's help, the gaps in this family are gradually being filled in! :-) |

I am looking for any grandchildren of Richard Ivor Moses, who was born in Gloucester, England in 1890 and died there in 1968. He lived in the London area for part of his life, and when he married a widow in Gloucester in 1950 he is described as widower. His step-grandson says he had children called Margaret, Ivor, Joan and John but has no further details. FreeBMD has no record of his first marriage or the births of his children so I assume these events happened abroad somewhere. Any help very gratefully received. |
