Lisa if you use Freebmd.org.uk, and you are fairly sure of your father's date and place of birth, you will find his birth in the area you have mentioned, mother's maiden name Hobson? if so, using his surname and mother's maiden name you will find any siblings.

I am trying to find my father. His name is Gordon Joseph Hunt. he was born in the Withernsea area of Yorkshire ( I think) and he was born approx 1933. He was married to my mum, Vivien Jackson but they split up when I was only 3months old. I have never met him. I would love to here anything about him or any other relatives.
