I have just come across an Esther Leyland born 1819 in Leigh Lancashire in my tree, she married William Robinson 31/12/1843 in Bolton and her father was Joseph Leyland. Don't know if there is an connection?

My g/father Herbert Leyland born 1882 Tower St Bolton his parents John and Alice Leyland formerly Barton also in the family were Joseph/Frederick /William/Alice etc.
Herbert married Elizabeth Alice Cooke in Bolton 1902 and moved to Oldham where they spent the rest of their lives.
