My nan never knew her father. He married my great nan Annie because she was pregnant but soon after ran off with Norah. (If that makes any sense). He was born in Southampton but died in portsmouth. |

Not sure I understand Yvonne? Gemma believes that Barbara didn't grow up with her father (as happens to many children) and now Barbara and her mother Annie (first wife of Francis) are both deceased. |

I am aware that Francis Cox (male) died some years ago, as did his first wife and daughter. I know he remarried and married a Norah Grainger and had children. I am trying to get in contact with any of his surviving children or possibly even grandchildren. I never met him, and I believe my nan didn't know him. My nan was Barbara Eileen Vivien Cox. My great nan was Annie Ainger. I was contacted some time ago by a grandchild of his but after giving my contact details didn't hear back. Would love to see even 1 photo of him so I can show my dad and aunty. Would love to speak to someone who would be my Nan's half sibling or my dads cousin! |
