	I don't know him. What would the odd of that be? If you have an address for him you can search old electoral rolls at the nearest library to his address. This could give you names of relatives. Rose

	When was he living in Reading? His place of abode is no guide to his birthplace What is your connection to him? Do you know anything about him other than his name and birth year? Does he know you? Or about you?

	Claire you don't need to click the link Jacqueline has posted, it is just your other thread re your mother. I would actually advise waiting until you have , hopefully, spoken to your birth mother before trying to go any further with your search for your birth father? She may be able to give you information on him, for instance if she knew his exact age and birthplace, or family , which would save 'guessing', as his name is not that uncommon. :-)
