There are quite a few other Bradley births in Nottingham where the mother's maiden name is also Bradley. Without buying all the certificates I don't know how you will be able to tell whether these are children of your couple or whether they are illegitimate children to mothers with the Bradley surname.

Thanks. I have some details, including a marriage cert. It is odd that they are both called Bradley but I think that's correct but I don't know if they are related. I know that her death is recorded as 1991 and his (I think?) 1953. As you say Kath I would have to send for a lot of certs to be certain but it's too expensive.

Well maybe the informant on the death cents could be family .

Also the marriage cert will give ages and fathers names if known .

Thank you +++DetEcTive+++ and Gritty, I may splash out and get a copy of this Will. I've been tracking Dorothy's father J F Bradley for many years, and have tons of info on him but don't know where he ended up. I have a copy of the Will of Catherine from 1958 leaving Dorothy as the beneficiary.
