however I believe this birth would account for the Thomas Joseph Geraghty who died in 2000 in England, so a different man

Born april 1927 in Tubberdaly Rhode Co Offaly. I'm not sure of his middle name.

You gave his dob (which as he might be a alive could be an invasion of privacy) and was intending to get hold of his baptism record to see if he'd been given a middle name.

Unfortunately there are 130 records of people with that name in England on the electoral registers on Findmypast so it would be impossible to know which might be him unless you knew what part of the country he settled in.

Hi, I am searching for my Great Uncle Thomas Geraghty. he left ireland in the 1950's.
He was born in Tubberdaly, Rhode, Co. Offaly. He was born in 1927. Fathers name Thomas. Mothers name Brigid. He had a Brother John (Jack) and a sister Rosaleen (Lena). he would be in his 80's.
If anyone has any information about where he might have gone or knows him please let me know.
