Find Living Relatives

Hi, my husband Alan would love to know the whereabouts of his birth father, he has been told he was called Kenneth Dixon and lived in the Middlesbrough area, he might have emigrated to Australia at some point but we believe he returned to the area at a later date. Kenneth had a relationship with Sylvia Fletcher in the early 50's, Alan was born 25/04/1953. If anyone recognise's any of these names, please let us know, any clue could help

meanwhile ... about how old would Kenneth have been when Alan was born? do you know anything about his family? (probably not, but we need to know that if so!)

unfortunately, several Kenneth Dixons and multiple Ks, Dixon and Dickson, travelled to Australia in the 1950s, birthdates 1923 up (1960 is the last available year) so unless we can figure out his birth ...


there were Kenneth Dixon (no Dickson) marriages in Middlesbrough in 1945 and 1953 ... any idea whether he was married at the time?

for surname Dixon there are births in 1923, 1925, 1928, 1930, 1942 ... if he was born in Middlesbrough

none for Dickson, so it seems Dixon is maybe the more likely choice

none of those births had middle names, so there is no match on the passenger lists to Australia


you do know the other person who has Alan in their tree at this site?
