Do you know what his occupation was?

There is an article re a Jack Wharton, a painter that worked in the Wolverhampton and Chesterfield area. According to the article, at the time (1939) he was a married man with one child. He was charged with having procured a girl for immoral purposes.

Derbyshire Times and Chesterfield Herald - Friday 24 February 1939

Another article on the matter says he was 26 years of age.

No I have never looked for Jack before . It could be for someone else I was looking for in Wolverhampton . He just was there 1 day and gone the next, Aunt Rhoda would know but as she is dead that bit of information has gone . I don't think she would devoiced him . I see that you have found a death , I can use that I think .
He was a " Ladies Man" so my mother said one day when I asked about him He may have set up house we'll never know I think

Have you established his actual birth date . You could then look for a death for him .

Also if there was a divorce maybe he remarried

When did they separate ? Maybe he emigrated

Try also members trees to see if he is in anyone's tree

Hello , I am trying to find anything about my "missing" Uncle Jack Wharton He married Florence Rhoda Walford in Wolverhampton in the March Qtr of 1935. Other than that, that all I know . When he came back to Wolverhampton after WW2 something happened and he vanished . Aunt Rhoda ( Florence Rhoda ) is now dead but 2 of her children are still alive '

Please I don't which to contact them as I already have ,and Jack is subject that is taboo

All I would like to know is that happened to Uncle Jack Wharton if possible

Thank you in advance
