now I've been told by a lovely genes reunited member (Shirley) about my great granddad Leonard George Windsor in 1939 census with Marjorie tonks (Windsor) daughter born 1922.why doesn't it mention bout his 2nd daughter Rosemarie Windsor (my nan)she was born 1932 so she would only be 7 years old surely if she was at school you still would have to put your daughters details down on a important document,,,,any suggestions.I know when Leonard George Windsor died in 1942 in a coalmining accident my nan was a orphan at 10 years old I think her aunties looked after her as her mum frances lily Osborne died whilst giving birth.

Assuming Shirley posted the info on a thread, it would have been better if you'd asked the question on that.
Added - here it is http://www.genesreunited.co.uk/boards/board/living_relatives/thread/1366174

Anyway....
There is a closed record on the image after the entry for Majorie. It could be that the redacted name is that for Rosemarie. As Leonard was a Widower with 2 young children, its possible that the closed record is for someone else and that Rosemarie is Closed but in another household.

What is a Closed/Redacted record? Its the name of someone who was born after 1914 and had not died in England or Wales before 1991. Findmypast are updating the records where they can match a death 1991-2006 to an entry, but its taking time. Its easier for them to find males than females who are more likely to have changed their surname.
