I have my Father,s birth certificate he was born 6/01/1932 Alfred Edwin Thomas his father was Alfred Thomas he was in the army Lance corpral 2nd Batt west yorkshireregiment he was based at Stensall camp york wit my grandmother Dorethy Mary Smith. my grandfathers Father was a miner my grandmothers father was a porter i have got this from my grandfathers marriage lines i hope this explains better thn my first try.

No Rose i didnt find her i caught the delete button and didnt know how to get it back x

i wass trying to reshearch my fathers familoy tree and was not getting anywhere but the info i hqave had of here has shown me i wa going down the wrong path so i will start again and hyopefully find out more

Draper's dance school seems to have been founded by a Raymond Draper. If you google it, you will see that they have a Facebook page.

There's a possible birth for Raymond in 1935.

The parents of that child were Henry and Florence E, married 1927.

Would this be your Florence?


In 1939 Henry and Florence were living in Chesterfield, Derbyshire - so maybe not the right family, unless Florence moved to Walkley later.

There's no closed record with them in 1939, but no likely death for their son that I can see.

1939 implies that Florence later married a Priday
