Mary may have married a man with unusual surname in Preston in 1969 - see FreeBMD.

They had a daughter in 1970, who married in 1998.
The daughter and son-in-law were living in Preston until at least 2013, when they presumably opted out of the public ER.
The address hasn't been sold since then (Zoopla and Rightmove) so if they're the owners they may still be there.

It looks as if Mary and her husband divorced.
He remarried in Preston in 2002.

Mary is on the ER in Preston in 2002, under her married surname.
If she reverted to her maiden surname, she's on the Preston ER to 2007 - per ER on Ancestry.

The 2007 address was last sold in 2007, per Zoopla and Rightmove.
If that was when Mary bought it, she may still be there - on the assumption this is the correct Mary, and that she's the owner, and not a tenant.

They have/had five brothers, one of whom seems to have died in infancy.

Brother Peter MAY be/have been on GR.

The father died in 1961
