If you scroll down you'll see that Eastern Command did indeed have a depot at Redhill.

ADDED: In fact, there's loads if you Google, such as the pictures from the depot here

Can anyone advise whether there was an Army Remounts depot near Redhill, Surrey in 1916. My grandfather's occupation was listed as Groom Army Remounts in 1916
