Hi Jem :-)

It will be up to OH's standards. She's been following their every move and sometimes even helping! :-D

I'm surprised that they have been so polite with her ;-) :-D :-D

The painter is in at the moment and is doing all the doors upstairs and downstairs, so apart from the front and back entrance doors all the doors are without locks :-S

The floorcovering will commence on Tuesday :-D

Hi Allan :-)
If the completion of the Kitchen / family room is not up to OH's specifications .... you could always jump onto the Oncoming train ;-) :-D :-D

Hi Jem:-)

Vanilla essence

There is a light at the end of the tunnel; it could be the near completion of the kitchen and family room, or the light of an oncoming train :-D :-D

OH made a 'no bake' one yesterday. I don't normally eat sweets or desserts, but the cheesecake is delicious

Don't drink and post :-0 :-D :-D

How my answer ended up in the middle of my 'diatribe' I have no idea. Probably still suffering from shock after my money separation surgery :-D :-D

So, here it is again, hopefully in the correct position:

Well, that lightened the bank balance by $560.00 AND they didn't fix the aircon. recommended that I take it to an auto electrician, despite them advertising as being such a beastie :-|

Also noticed on the bill a radio security code. I queried it and was told that they got it over the phone from the main Hyundai dealer in Bunbury. I told them it was not the code I got when I bought the car in Perth. I was told that they had entered it and it worked.

Went out to car, radio not working :-|

Kangaroo sausages

back inside to tell them; the response "If you can bring it back soon with your security card, we'll reprogram it"

NO I'll do it myself, which I did :-P

First, and last, time I'll be using that garage :-|

Cars are a never ending drain on the budget! :-(
Hope you can get it fixed for a reasonable price
Bye Allan, have a good day :-)

Believe it or not, they are bags of mini chocolate wafers by Nestle! I came across them today! :-D

Iced coffee (Just leave it outside overnight)

That's my lot for now, Jem.

I have to take the car to the garage. The air-conditioner and fan unit packed up last week. I've checked the fuses and they are OK. The car also needs a service. I hadn't realised that it is nearly four years since it was last done. Mine is just a runabout and is now ten years old. We normally use OH's car which is only a couple of years old.

If mine is going to be expensive to fix, I'll just scrap it :-(

Sleep well :-)

You will need to get some Reds inside you to keep the cold out ;-)

Some parts of the SW dropped to -2c overnight, and of course the Stirling Ranges in the Great Southern is the only place in WA to receive snow albeit very small falls. In the Eastern States they have some great ski resorts (Thredbo). Tasmania is not far behind :-D

It's strange to think of Australia being cold! But of course you have seasons, just the same as us! :-)
Slowly but surely, you will get there in the end :-)
