Find Ancestors

All children of Kate and Donald Macleod of Tarbat have been accounted for as to birth ,death and marriage except Jean Annabelle Macleod 1888.

Not found on 1911 census(by me anyway)
She is old enough to have been Dianes mother but I cant find her after 1901.

No Kathy nothing found at all even after more certs sent for and numerous SP credits and investigations into any family likely to be loosely interwoven....................Diane is still on the WANTED list.


But at the moment Evelyn is nursing her very sick husband who is having Chemo,so she is not around much.

I really think Diane was only married once but who knows, anything is possible I guess. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

Evelyn - your Mother & My father - just like twins - but I did find him eventually

He had a different date of birth for every marriage & every person he was with had a differnet date & year for him as well. It took us 6 trips to London to visit St Catherines house (way before the internet BMD's) to find him - he is still proving a great surprise to me. So far i have found at least 5 marriages (well 3 official ones) dread to think what i am going to find in all my searches

As regards Roderick, I have a brother Rodney,
I also have a brother whose second name is Leslie, my 3rd brother is Robert

Diane was born 1906 I do not know the exact date, but she said her birthday was in June, she seemed to change the date to suit the occasion.
Maybe she had come from money as she had a private income up until she was married.
I dont know of any Cornish connections she never mentioned any.

No I do not think Evelyns mother is a Bolitho from Cornwall...But I think that may be where Barabel was working/staying when she died......We will see what we will see.

And Mr Bolitho was a BANKER and JP and he married...Wait for it ....A Macleod from Ross-shire.....;P

Who had a well known brother ..A Captain in the Cameroon lot....Not called Robert though....His name was Roderick....And he died in 1931 in London...
Very wealthy families the Bolitho;s and this clan of Macleods....So no chance of Ev being related really is there???

But I have no doubt I am on a wild goose chase for her again???

But Dianes exact date of birth would be so good to be told again as what with all these pills addling what little brain I have I want it to be iscribed on them again...
