My grandmother's maiden name was Geoghegan, and I know that the family came from Dublin and had musichall connections. She died in 1953. Also either she or her husband, whose surname was GARDNER was profoundly deaf, as were some of her children and grandchildren. They lived in Lancashire, probably the Bolton area, and the name 'Edgefold' has a link to the family. Do any of these facts ring a bell with anyone? |
