I am trying to find the parents of Florence Kate Hewlett born 1884
my wifes family think she was born in Ireland the illigitamet child of the Irish ambassadors Son, who fled to South Africa and was killed at the kimberley diamond mine ( Gamberling ) Florence came to England with her wet nurse and married in 1903 to Alfred Humphries. If any one can help me with this it would be much apprecated .

There is this Florence on the 1911, married to an Alfred for the correct amount of time, but her birthplace isn't given as Ireland.

There is this one giving birthplace as Chelsea (as per 1911) boarding with the Pawsey family - Margaret's place of birth is given as Ireland.

Coincidence, I guess! They're in Richmond, Surrey, in 1901. Yup, that FKH died in 1946 on the Isle of Wight. Well, there could be a family connection -- what with the Puzey and FKH -- so I'll leave it for curiosity purposes. ;)

This would be the way to find out who wife/mother Margaret in that Pawsey household was:
