AN independent investigator is to make a decision on whether a disabled man lives independently or in a residential home.

Cicily and Douglas Jelley decided in February to put their son Douglas, 46, into residential care after Mrs Jelley, 81, suffered a stroke.

However, six months later a new home for their severely disabled son has not been found.

The county council initially agreed to pay for a place for Douglas at the Milbury private care home in Occupation Road, Corby, but withdrew the offer days later, saying the correct procedures had not been followed before the decision was made."

So we know that Cicily/Sylvia was born in about 1926

You NEED that Marriage cert Danielle to find out 1st her age also it will give you both partners Fathers names and thier occupations.....and if your really lucky....the witnesses to the marriage also might give you clues to move on.....

Are you in contact with your grandparents? Can you ask them for their birth dates and perhaps their parents' names? That would help a lot
