Find Ancestors

I'm new to this so please be gentle with me. My G Grandmother Annie Knott, seems to have been married to George Knott. She shows as a widow in 1911 and 1891 census records. If i have researched correctly, she was formerly Weeks.
I can find no death records for George, who it seems died whilst quite young.
I'm wondering, if it may have been a military death??
I think they were from Oakhampton in Devon.....

They were from north tawton, looking at the above though, she must have lost some children between 1901 and 1911. I cannot identify george's birth as there are a few, just don't know where to go now!!!

Do you have the 1906 birth cert. One of my husband's relatives was born a number of years after the husband''s death and the actual father was named on the birth cert

Just for info, there's no George Knott or George Nott in the Imperial Yeomanry in the Anglo-Boer War c1901, always a possibility.

I suspect the couple was estranged rather than that she was widowed.

I discovered a death abroad of a George Knott, in Sudan. All i got was a number........
