I am trying to find any information on the sinking of the St Genny in the English Channel on the 13/01/1930 with the loss of 23 Hands. |

I assume you know who his parents were, so perhaps you can find him on the census. There's a birth of a Charles Frederick in Mar quarter 1883 in Bethnal Green, ref 1c 275. |

If his name was Charles Frederick this is the only birth around the right time His birth could well have been registered in the March quarter, even though he was born in the previous November. Nothing unusual in that. You don't have to repeat yourself. I think I've been helpful to you. |

Try a search for Saint class tugs. there were quite a few built around 1919. Some have a similar outline to St Genny, so could be sister ships. |
