If you have a person of this name in your tree then there is a connection, his daughter Mabel is my GGrandmother, and was left to bring up 8 children on her own, after my GGrandfather died (Walter Benjamin Brett). One of their children is named Walter Charles Laban Brett, the Laban is often spelt Labon. |

Thank you Minnie, I was having trouble trying to go further back than 1881 (which is the correct person.) since everywhere I have looked comes up with not known. Obviously as a cow hand the family moved around a bit. Do you know if there is a way I could locate the farm he was at? |
