Well, this is the above Herbert 1891 - shoe finisher. Maybe you found the wrong one? You have no evidence that Herbert was born 1885 as far as I can see.

If you are sure Harry Lucas is your then we have the right family.

Maybe I should check my Herberts again.

Harry Lucas is definitely the son , but the only marriage that came up was the 1903 one, Herbert was born in 1885 so could only be 18 to marry gives 1903.
